And congratulations on studying at Helsinki University and on the birth of your daughter. Take care. Thank you for taking the time to under...dragonfly,

Thank you for taking the time to understand my ‘inner’ vocabulary. I very much look forward to reading your writings at Yoga Journeys. Lucid dreaming: why did you stop?
My own interest in lucid dreaming lasted for a few years. After that there came a time when the most fulfilling thing to do while having a lucid dream was to sit down inside the dream, close my dream eyes, and meditate. I had no time for silly dream experiences, becoming enlightened was serious business!

Anyway, that approach didn’t work out so well. Today I think I’ve learned to embrace my dreams once again. (or perhaps for the first time.) I really enjoy them. I love talking with all the strange creatures I meet in them. I love the colours. I love, while in them, forgetting who I am, and then remembering again.

So I’m still curious, why do you think you stopped having lucid dreams? Was it a case of “been there, done that?” Could it be time to embrace them again, (for the first time)?

That’s all I ever really say to anybody, including myself: “Tallis, don’t forget to both Transcend and Embrace.”

I bow with deep respect to you dragonfly.

TallisTallis Graysonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11409977278753480635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3586449197342546206.post-49570744643131302342009-10-03T22:23:36.060-04:002009-10-03T22:23:36.060-04:00Thank you Leon.Thank you Leon.Tallis Graysonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11409977278753480635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3586449197342546206.post-29812544588334782062009-10-03T17:05:11.186-04:002009-10-03T17:05:11.186-04:00I've always been a very internal person with i...I've always been a very internal person with intense internal experiences. I think I'm understanding how you mean that here, and using it in the same way. I had the opposite experience with lucid dreaming - I stopped doing it around the same period in my life when it began for you.dragonflyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09477118577974071974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3586449197342546206.post-41517031339025189642009-10-03T12:06:27.626-04:002009-10-03T12:06:27.626-04:00You have a beautiful blog.
